38 inch Striped Bass Caught in the Rips off Cape Cod

Marco, Rob and I went out on late afternoon on Wednesday, May 28th. We fished the rips off Popponesset on Cape Cod. Tide was falling with low slack at 6:40ishPM. Immediately, we marked fish on the sonar and because they were deep, we decided to throw a blue and a green SP Minnow. Both colors had success. We all started off with a few 20-25 inchers. Right as the tide was turning slack and the rip was fading away, I hooked into a 38 incher (see above)! Overall, great, quick trip!
